i really dont like my tank and i suck at aquascaping so could you guys give me suggestions on what to do with my tank. the tank is 2'x1'x2'

im really bad at taking pics but this is what it looks like right now

Hey dont get disheartend i think you tank set up is beautiful, nothing in nature looks perfect and anything that professes to be is false manmade moulded air brushed in some way! Im no expert i have a large tank (rio 240) which im trying to plant out and aquascape in some way shape or form myself, Some times i get a tad fed up trying to keep the glass clean from alge,replacing stuff ..................like 10 buckets of water per water change (ide hate to do a full water change nowadays) Ide love to have the ability to aquascape like you see in some of the pics in the forums, I think that most of them are of matured planted tanks though, ide have to buy 1000 Ricca whatsisnames to blanket my tank but at £4 a shot no way im just gona have to wait . we are beginners and will make mistakes buy the wrong type of plant be plagued with alge wierd ph kh and loads of other initialed chemical inbalances and the odd dead fish to boot just like every body else has and may still do from time to time, nothing is perfect nature will not allow it to be, your tank is your creation your place of retreat from the daily grind it is unique and totaly yours.You dont even have to have plants in your tank some dont have gravel etc, all you need is good filtration, light ph etc and somewhere for the fish to hide and food . im sure some one will tell me im barking up the wrong tree hear but every one has an opinion and this is mine wether you take it is up to you .
Good luck with your tank dont give up you will only miss it a year or so on and in that time you could of become an expert aquascaper if you had persisted.

well its not that its bad, its just that nothing will grow, its been set up since december and nothing has died but it wont grow lol'
but i cant find anyone with a tank my size

i really like jimbooo's tank.
but the thing is, im 16 so i dont have credit card or the money to get plants online and theres really nowhere around to go get them from stores. so thats the main thing.

im going to rearange some stuff tonight, but im leaving saturday to north carolina for a week. i have some one to come feed my fish everyday but i dont have a timer so my lights are going to have to stay off for a week. most of my plants probly wont make it im afraid.

well the tank is right in front of a window thats gets plenty of light, so if i just took the background off that should work the same way, right?
