I need a new bulb for my nursery tank which also houses a betta, and a few plants. I want a bulb which will emphasise the bettas red colour, as well as promote plant growth - do you think this is ok? http://www.seapets.co.uk/products/aquarium-supplies/fish-tank-equipment/aquarium-lighting/fluorescent-t5-light-tubes/plant-pro-t5-lamp-arcadia-24w-22in.html
Or are there other alternatives to consider?
Thanks in advance :)

Hi, I have tried a few bulbs , aquaglo/powerglo, today I picked up arcadia 18w original tropical lamp, cheap and cheerful, the aqua-glo is intended to enhance fish colours but I didnt see it, maybe its more to do with the fish I have, I feel background and substrate make a difference, the arcadia I bought today I have been advised is still good for plant growth, it gives off a slight pinkish hue so maybe that would enhance the red on your fish, just my two cents :good:
