forgot to mention the tank is a 54L
will have to get my fishless cycle done first!
was planning to use some water from my other tank but the guppies have developed white spot (dont ya think they plan it haha)

so waiting 6-7 weeks
but wanted to get sorted on what kind of fish i want in it

The second option list looks best to me. The only thing that I can fault with that list, is that dwarf gouramis are often quite aggressive, and the other fish in a tank that size will have nowhere to run. he fist list contains a number of fish which, IMO, are too large for your tank.
The barbs you have chosen are usualy very placid, but I would avoid mixing the cherry barbs with anything with fancy finnage.
Good luck with your cycle :good:

Id go with option 2, only have 1 DG and change the pygmy for any regular size cory :)

Corries need to be in groups of 6 or more. An "adverage" corry is 4 inches in length. A group of regular corries is going to bring you close to fully stocked in a 54 liter tank. There are 15 gallons there, thus space is at a premium. IMO, you would be best with a group of pygmy corries, as they allow you to add the other fish you want. From what I have been told, pygmy corries are slightly hardier than regular types too, making them more suited to the conditions provided by a small tank.
