Help Making Tank Top

Was re-arranging and changing out the water the other day, and stupid me stepped on my glass top when i turned around to get it. Any suggestions on fixing it? I have a hexagon top so no one sells them, so im going to have to make one most likely. Was wondering if some thick clear thick plastic would be good, because of the fact i need to make multiple cuts and it will stop me from breaking it again

Plexiglass will warp, unless you get the really thick expensive type. I use styrene light diffuser panels cut to size for my tanks, cheap, doesn't warp, and it's easy to work with.

You might want to check a glass shop for glass cut to size, clear is pretty cheap.
