Hi i stumbled across this website as i was aimlessly trying to find out about trying to start a small tropical tank for both me and my daughter to enjoy together. I am a total newbie to all this i have only had a few goldfish over the years (many years ago) im looking for advive i have seen a 32 litre tank and was wondering would this do just to keep a small amount of fish as we are pushed for the room? I also read the post on fishless cycling and tho very good was left a little confused. PLEASE HELP

Check this out: here

It's a small guide for fish for ten gallons, I imagine some of the smaller ones could fit in 8.. if that's what you have. By the way, what size bowl did you keep your goldfish in?

hmmmm i think it was me that said to post here but i didnt mean copy and paste
any way aprox ten gallons i think is fairly small but i find there to a wide range of fish that can be kept in small tanks, corys, guppys, maybe platys but not 100% as there a messy fish i find, a small shoal of tetras like neons maybe a shoal of 6 or 7.or you could keep a single betta with 4 or 5 corys.
theres a few options there for you and i sugest to read the pinned topics on fishless cycleing here :good: and then ask questions on which you dont understand .
