I would strip the tank down and steralise everything.

The yellow did it look fluffy or a gold dusting.

Is there anyway, i could leave the fish in and *clean* the tank? Maybe turn the heating up or something?

if it was a gold dusting it sounds like velvet.
Are you treating for the whitespot as the med the same for velvet.

They did die, the fish im talking about is the tank they came from the community tank.

The gold dusting tyoe thing was not on the fish themselves, it was under there bodies.
