I think my betta (almost a year old now) is dying. His body looks like its paralyzed - when he tried to swim he only seems to be able to move his front fins and he just ends up floating around on his side. I had to turn off the filter because he kept getting sucked onto it and couldnt get off. New he just lies on the bottom of the tank and doesnt move. He doesnt look like he has any signs of disease. I put him in a smaller tank a few days ago to isolate him and he just seems to be getting worse. I tested the water and it tests fine for everything - chlorine, nitrates, ammonia, ph.
