Help I Need Advice On Guppies Aborting Fry!

okay so my giant guppy is rather heavily pregnant. to cut a long story short we found that she had been nipped so we moved her to a breeder carefully to keep her safe then i noticed her birthing tube was out

i found 2 partially curled up fry at the bottom but no more [i can try and get a pic if so]

so what i want to know will the rest of her fry be safe? or are they doomed?

was it because of stress, what can i do?

turn the lights out and leave her in peace, the stress of moving could of cause her to give birth prematurely

it's most probably due to the female bettas
they dont do well in communiity tanks and get very aggressive
they should be kept in species aquaria in groups of no less than 6 to spread the aggression

put some floating plants on top of the breeder if you cant turn out the lights , keep her as quiet as possible

thanks ive removed the female bettas into the naughty tank and they can stay there! beautiful but a pain

she seems better but still has the tube open, but shes moving and swimming now

Ill leave her be and see what happens

I wouldnt say that the betta is a pain - You are ADVISED! not to keep them in community tanks, because this is what happens.

I was never advised, nor have a had any problems, ive had this guppy for over a week and nothing has happened until now, Im only assuming it was the bettas

and they have now been removed into a different tank incase it was them

they were all fine until one died which left 2 but theres nothing i can do about that

dont worry about it hun when you can increase the number of females to 6 so they'll be happy in the same tank together and wont have any problems
bettas are known for attacking guppys some dont but as they mature they can get nippy and they most prob has just got fed up with the guppy being in their tank lol

I will increase the numbers but theyre happy where there are for now with nthing they would want to attack!
