I have some strange white worm like creatures in my tanks. I do not know what they are. They are arround 5 -10 mm long very thin and sort of wiggle or squirm around in the water they also crawl on surfaces like the filter or glass. They started in my 360ltr tank when I introduced some plants and some Platy's. But have now passed into my breeding tank Probably on either a net or plants as I moved some plants after i though I had got rid of the wormy things. I can not see anything on the fish just in the water but this does not stop me worrying. I have treated with Protozin but this does not seem to have done much.

I just want to know what they are then I can decide how to deal with them.

hi! welcome to the forum.
have a google of planaria. they are the most common "worm-like" creature we find in our tanks. and they are 100% harmless. eat organic matter in the substrate. if you have poor substrate maintenance, they can multiply very fast.
cheers
