I'll have an empty 29 g after Christmas (can you say upgrade!), and I'm so confused at to what to stock it with. I know I want a cichlid or 2 of some sort, but can't decide.
I'm thinking:
a pair of blue rams and 1 firemouth (some sort of dithers)
1 kribensis and 1 firemouth (with some dithers)
1 firemouth and something else

As you can see, I'm really drawn to the firemouth as I've never had one, but I love the krib and rams I used to have, too.
What do you think?
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, but I really don't want an angel. I've had one before and, while it was pretty, it just didn't do it for me.
I'd really like a firemouth and a krib, but I'm not sure how well they'd get along. I know they're from different areas, but from what I've read fm like the more alkaline water and kribs can go either way. I figure I'd keep it about neutral to keep them both healthy.
Also, I'm not sure what kind of dithers to use. Was thinking rosy barbs?
