HELP!! How do I cure whitespot when...

Hi everyone.... I remember someone mentioning that I was not to use whitespot treatment in the water with my elephantnose.... trouble is, I seem to have the beginnings of whitespot, so I was wondering how I could cure it if I can't actually use whitespot treatment?

Any ideas?

im treating my fish with anti whitespot i bought from pets at home its working a treat i bought it for £2.80 not bad when my fish could of dies and they cost all together about £25
buy the treatment it takes 4 days but you have got to take the rocks ,stones,ornaments plants can be kept in there.

Ya, ummm... i use metric, but all the thermometers i own are imperial. So, gradually raise (1 or 2 degrees at a time) until you hit 86 fahrenheit. Add 1-3 teaspoons of dissolved salt per gallon of water (aim for 2)
