i have 2 now smaller then a quarter, in a ten gal-us, borrowed a filter form a established tank and have them ajusting in the plastic bag floatin in the tank, and have a jar of tropical food with a pic of an angelfish on it , so i think its right, i know this is the wrong place but i dont even know what forem they go under!!!! aggrr MOM, I BREED BETTAS, THAT DOSENT MEAN I KNOW S@#$ ABOUT ANGEL FISH! yea they were present for my daughter, but she is 7, so guess who will be doing all the work! and i am pretty busy anyway,, trying to find a job, just jarred out a 8 week spawn today and now have the tank set up for the new spawn to be.... i am just exasperated.

ok i have only ever had one angel fish so i'll help you with what i can......
water temp i had mine between 75-80 degrees
as for food typical tropical flake food plus bloodworms, brine shrimp, and other frozen/live foods
i was told to give my one a 30 gallon tank but it needs to be on the taller side i don't remember what minimum hight exactly but i think it was something like 18"(i could be wrong).
thats about all i remember i hope it helps.

Minimum tank size would be a 20 high, with no substrate for two angels. If you want to go decorated get a 29, this leaves you room for a few tank mates as well. Angels like it warmer, low 80's is good, too cool slows their metabolism, leading to constipation & bloat. Don't worry about pH, they can acclimate to just about any pH, and no salt is needed. Very few fish need salt in the water, angels are not among these few.

Tropical flake is a good start, go easy on bloodworms, these are a high protein food that can lead to constipation issues. Brine shrimp are a better alternative, live or frozen.

20+ gallons. I believe a 30 gallon tank is the usual. the 10 gallon is fine as a temporary home (until they start growing). Flake food is fine.

Go to the new world cichlid section for more info.... and dont count out google. that will give you instant and abundant info.
