I think sometimes these things just happen....

I started out with 5 neon tetras and 5 platies to cycle the tank, 3 platies died. then i got 5 more neoen tetras and 5 guppies, all the guppies died within 5 days! so then I get 5 more guppies and I now have 2 left but i do have 3 guppy fry that i have counted! I got 3 more platies, 1 died but i have 1 platy fry in the tank. then i got some swordtails and 1 has died.
My tank was fine before i put any of these fish in, so i think its just one of those thing :dunno:

It is a 60 litre tank planted no idea about gallons

How long has the tank been set up? Has there been a period where everything was going fine and then this started happening, or has this been happening from the beginning?

Has the tank been cycled? The water parameters will show up as normal if a tank has not been cycled yet. Although with fish in there I would expect some ammonia if it was uncycled. Have you had a water sample checked by the lfs? There is normally nitrate present in tap water, so a zero reading might indicate something wrong with the test/kit.

The tank has been running for about 1 year fully cycled we had guppys beore but they were then eaten by a fighter who died about 6 monthes ago

I think you have just struck bad luck with you dealer.

I have over a dozen fish from 3 years ago still alive in y tank. And some from a dealer in town are still alive, but my last 6-7 purchases have passed away from the LFS down the road.

Try a new dealer when your ready.

So what shall i do with my fish? i don't think that my dealer will take them back and i dust couldent kill them

Dont kill the fish that are stll alive! Just buy your next purchase from a new store! :)

:X :X   I have already tried that but they still die!!!!!

Any signs of heavy breathing? Signs of damge? or anything on the new fish when u buy them?

How are you treating the water when you run general maintenance?

No signs of heavy breathing or damage with the fish. With the water i add stress zyme and coat and leaf zone :/

IM not familiar with those, so cant comment, but do you treat for chlorine and chloramine with a dechlorinator?
