Help Guppies Not Eating Help

my female guppy wont eat she has not eater for a little while and she di not just give birth because i watch all my fish everyday for 30 min if she was fat and her gravid spot was big i would have put here in my baby saver and she is so skinny her stomach is concave and her gills look a little reddish i am very worried about her (all the other fish are perfectly healthy and nice and round but not overweight)

What size tank? 10 gallons

How long has it been set up?3 months\
i have no idea the ammonia and stuff but i put in a water conditioner that takes out(let me look on the bottle) lets see it:
-removes:
nitrate
nitrite
ammonia
cloramines
and chlorine
it also:
replaces lost skin slime
adds electrolytes
and removes copper

What temp do you keep the water at? 79 degrees

What other fish are in the tank? i other adult female guppies 1 inch 1/2 and 20 teenage guppies 1 1/2 cm

its like 1 1/2 inches

Have their been any recent new fish in the tank?no

What filtration do you use? whisper

Have you recently changed the filter sponge / cartridge? no 1 only rinse them every 2- 3 weeks and replace them when i take the fish out and let the old water run for 1 day to put good bacteria in the media but the water is crystal clean

Describe your maintenance routine i do a 20% water change one a week with the bottle stuff i listed above
do you use a gravel vac to clean the gravel? there is no gravel because guppies don't need it only plastic plants

Do you treat new water when doing a water change? yes

Red gills are due to poor water quality, things like bacterial to parasite.
You say you take the sponges out do you rinse them in tap water or tank water and why ever two weeks.
Shouldn't touch sponges for months.
Also why do you take the fish out of the tank.

i put them in another tank i use one of those things that takes the water out by gravity and put it in another tank and than wash the the filter cardiges(i dont have sponges i dong know what your talking about) and than put the fish back in when the water clear i have had fish tanks since i was sven and read every book and website i find about fish through at least 2 times

Do you have males in there?

Has she been extremly harassed by a male?

i have no males only teenage guppies and another female but the babies are only 2 weeks and 3 days old not old enough to be male or female

what about that thing when most female fish have a babie they do nt eat for 2 days. it might not be true. it could be a myth

That is only true for pike livbearers. There eating swicth in there brain is turned of for about 48 hours so in the wild the babies can get far away before the parent starts to eat again. I think that it is poor water quality and maybe a bacterial infection. Try some Marazyn and dont touch the sponge because it can cause the water to be bad and dont rinse it out, exspecailly with tap ater because the clorine will kill the bacteria. Do you have a test kit? If not, pick one up immeadiatly and do a water test.

her back is kind of arched but i wondered if it was cause she was so skinny that her stomach cant stretch out or it is that disease i forget what it is called and now all my fish have it i dont know how when they are in different tanks but the sick guppies was in there first before i knew she was sick and now all my guppies are sick and my other fish yesterday i just got my 3rd tank a 29 gallon so now i have 2 29 gallons and a 8 gallon but i want to get rid of the infection before i set up my new tank(its still in the box) and plus it has to cycle for like a week please help i need to get rid of this before my fish start dying!!!

If the fish has an arched back and gone skinny, you are dealing with internal parasites to fish tb.
Check the anus of the fish to see if it looks red and inflamed or enlarged.
Any sores or other symtoms on the other fish.

Got to find out which one it is first internal parasites or fish tb.
You can medicate the others but the one with the bent spine best to end it's misery, can't mend a bent spine.
