Help Fungus! On My Rummynose!

Help! my rummy nose tetra has white fungus by his head. Ok i have some rock salt. Is there anything specal this rock salt has to or should not have? The tank is 25gal highwith the follow fish:

1 blue acara- strian only grows 4inch
1 orange chromide cichlid
1 firemouth
3 corycats
6 rummynose


HELP! ME PLZ! im not sure how much to put in aswell.

EDIT: the salt is Tidmans natural rock salt it says its complete with natural product retaining valubletrace elements such as magnesium and calcium. Its made by the Maldon cystal salt company in Essex England.

You have cory cats so you can't hardly use any, how many gallons is the tank.

25gal wouldnt add anymore than a tablespoon.

yeah its fluffy and white it has all the characteristics of the fungus. im not sure how long i need tp treat the tank for and i donthave any quorintine tank

If you live in the states maracyn one and two, uk myxazin and pimafix.
increase aeration as the meds will reduce 02 in the water, good luck.

no icant get meds. i live in the grand cayman and shops are closed 2day and 2morrow and the olnytime my mom could drive me would be next month. she hates driving across the island for fish. i got tidman's natural rock salt for human consumtion and i also have seasalt, and kosher salt.

ok it says 5 minutes for discus, this is a rummynose how long should i keep it in?

i will use the sea salt i just have a better feeling about it.

Just start off at the 5 minutes stage, you gradually build it up to 30 minutes, if he acts weird like rolling remove him at once, good luck.

im going 2 do a 1.5 solution do i also add stresscoat or anything like that into the water??

also if he acts weird what do i do then?

after the 5 mins do i put him back into my 25gal tank then let him be inthere for like 15 mins then boost the salt bath up2 like 7minutes?

Just take some tank water, if you use fresh water add the declorinator, watch temp in the bath keep it as same as the tank.
If he acts weird just add him back to the tank.
He might be abit weird for a while after the bath in the tank, he will come round it knocks them.
If he copes with five minutes knock the next one up to 10 mins.

You do a salt bath about every four hours.

ok hes in.. after thebath i put him bakc into the takn for how long?hes swimming in there at first hewas upside downat the topbut now hes fine...

ok they do act weird for a minute when put him back in the tank, but you do have to keep an eye on the temp so you are not placing him back into a warmer tank, next bath should be 5 to 7 hours time.

hes not doing to good now that he back in the tank... the blue acara tried to eat him cuz hes not swimming. now hes on one leaf of the fake silk plant breathing really quickly and hes upside down.

ok well hes off the leaf at the corner not swimming good and still breathing hard.. i think im going to loose him

i put a sinking pellet at the bottom so the fish would be at that and so far they are and there leaving the poor rummynose alone. if the acara keeps going after him what should i do? i have a 10g with an id shark- rehoming 1 red tailed shark and some tetras and a pleco.

crap back on the leaf upside down, noones bothering him. WHAT DO I DO!?!? help!

its been like 15 minutes or more his head is faceing down ward he on a peice of plant and not doing anything just breathing.
