Fish Fanatic
Its been four days since I moved my siamese algae eaters into my new tank. I've had them for a year and they've always been my favorite and most active fish. But suddenly, as soon as they went in the tank, they hid and wouldn't eat. so naturally i got worried about the water. So I checked it and water stats are perfect and what they should be, and everything is perfect and meets SAE requirements. But all they do is hide all day and freak. I don't know whats wrong, they have no symptoms of being sick except for hiding, the plants are growing, and everything looks happy. They were fine before I moved them from the other tank.
(their previous tank is at my dads, 30 minutes away). The tank has been maturing for a month, so i know its cycled.

Its a 29 us gallon tank with just the two Sae's
its got 65 watts of light over it.
the temp is 79F
water stats are :
nitrate:0
nitrite:0
ph:7.2
ammonia:0
hardness is 4
its fully planted with flourite and black gravel.
theres two peices of malaysian driftwood.
I turned off the co2 but it isn't helping.
There is a tiny bit of hair algae iv'e noticed missing, so i know they are eating something.
Does anyone have any idea why they are acting so weird? Thanks
