did you not quarentine the fish before adding them to the main tank - this may be a good tip for the future so that you are not adding any infected fish into your main stock
so glad things are going better now
Nope, have never done that in over 30 years..........i mean, how are you to know when physically they look all ok..........and how long for?
I did end up using the antibiotics but not sure if it did anything as in the end, i've had no more deaths and all fish look fine..........
I have also changed my filtr to a new Fluval 305.......i found that after cleaning my tank last week and also my maintenance on my Aqua One CF 1000, there was a small leak from the turn valve.........so, i decided might be a good time to upgrade......connected this tonight........awesome......
i didnt bother with a quarentine tank for over 20 years until i got some lovely platys - looked great when i got them 3 days later the whole tank was infected with velvet and white spot , lost lots of fish since then i've got a quarentine tank
i thought they were a waste of time - i dont now lol
i only quarentine for 2 weeks i know most peeeps do 4 weeks but i dont and my lfs quarentines some fish for me to
