Hello Guys,

I have a real problem, for the last 6 weeks one by one my fish have been dying and I don't know what is causing it. Everything day to every other day I wake up to find 1 or 2 fish missing at a time.

My water stats are good, with ammonia = 0, Nitrite = 0 and the pH is around 6.5 - 7 and I am checking this every two days. I even have started to run a secondary filter to ensure the water quality is good. My Tank is 240L

I have been doing weekly / fortnightly 15% - 25% water changes and my tank is heavily planted. The Plant are in a fabulous condition as well.

So far I have lost 13 Rummy Nose's
6 Blue Rams
2 Bolivian Rams
4 Tiger Barbs
(I have had the barbs and the rams living peacefully for the last 6 months)

Any suggestions on what could be the issue here?

Sorry for your losses :(

I can't imagine exactly what's going on. Are the fish showing any symptoms at all?

As a first aid measure do a few really big (80 or 90%) water changes; there's always the risk that something we don't/can't test for could have got in somehow.

No that is the strange thing the rams look fine and then all of a sudden become really lethargic 1 day before they die as if they had ammonia poisoning, however when I check my water stats all is fine.

I'd do the water changes anyway; like I said, it could be something not showing up on your tests that's doing it :(

I hope things get better.
