My my has not eaten in 5 weeks! Her wieght has shifted to her tail section. She looks like she is loaded with eggs. What do I do? The water is 79 degrees farenhieght, specific gravity 1.019.

Only thing I have read as a suggestion is to lower the SG down to below 1.010 to see if you can simulate her moving up the river and somehow attempt to induce spawning.

I've lost 3 G.tile from this over the years and was unable to ever trigger a spawning, good luck with it and let us know what happens.

I figure I'll wait it out for a few months. What anti-biotics should I get? Maybye I can keep from getting an infection from not laying the eggs. How long could a 50 cm G. tile go without food?

Edit:
Can she absorb her eggs back into her body if she does not lay them?

Oh ya, forgot to mention she jumped out last night. The tank is very well sealed now. She is scuffed in a few places. I tried to feed her a damselfish the other day, but my Sargassumfish ate it first. Not sure exactly how he managed too fit it in his mouth, or did not rupture the lining of his stomach.

By Sargassumfish, do you mean the sargassum frogfish, Histrio histrio? If so then don't be surprised by their eating. They will happily eat things up to twice their own length. One was found with something like 12 conspecifics ints stomach.
