Help! My Dwarf Gourami has a big white patch on the top of his head just above eye. It looks nasty. Don't know what to do

Sorry to hear this.. i have just bought 1M and 1F so will keep a close eye to see and hope you find a result

I done a little bit of reading into the dreaded 'D.G.D' (disease), but as well as hoping this may not be the case, have you looked into that and what is recommended to do should your D.G's have it?

From what i gather it is quite a common displacement to have with many Dwarf Gourami (3 in 10 chance i read on a couple of occasions), but i sincerely hope you find a cure as i could well be in your situation in a couple of months.

i hope for your sake that he doesn't have dgd (dwarf gourami disease).

add a general antibacterial to the tank (this may stop it becoming infected)

Is it just white or is it bleeding/pink? Mine had a white patch on her head which i thought was DGD, however when i talked to the lfs i bought her from he told me it looks more like HITH, treated the whole tank with eSHA Hexamita and it's cleared up
