Ok I have a black moor (still pretty young) and im pretty sure he has Cloudy eye but its only on one of his eyes, i've been reading up on it and they say i should us tetracycline. Should I? or should i just change the water?

try doing some daily partial (30-50%) water changes and gravel cleans for a week. then if it hasn't cleared up try adding some medication.

Tetracycline is a very strong antibiotic and will wipe out the good filter bacteria. You will also need a vet prescription to obtain it.

Most normal aquarium medications should clear up a minor infection without the need to use Tetracycline based drugs. If you want to treat the fish then look for Waterlie Myxazin" or "Wardley's Promethyasul" or "Triple Sulpha".
Melafix might even work too and is a lot safer than the other drugs.

If it's only one eye it could just be an injury. I have a pleco who's eye was white when I came home 4 days ago, it cleared up within 2-3 days on it's own. Don't rule out disease, just keep an eye (ya I know) on it. if it's an injury it should fade daily, assuming it's not too bad.

alright and yea its starting to go away a little bit but now im noticing a little bit of his black skin going over the top of his eye like a eyelid

its kinda hard to get a pic of him cause he keeps moving but its just on the top part of the eye and its only like this big || (the gap size)

it could just be the normal skin that is covering the area. See how it goes over the next 24 hours. It should get better and start to look more normal if it is healing up.

alrighty i will and ill post a update then!
