Help Bacterial Bloom Wont Go

Well basically ive had my tropical tank since december, ive never ever had any problems and now i have white murky water that wont go! i have lost lots of fish and the ones left look like they are struggling. i change all the filter pads yesterday thinking it would clear the water but 24 hours later and its still just as bad! please help i dont want to loose anymore fish

Having changed all your filter pads you are now effectively cycling your tank again. Do as larger water change as you can and read up on fish in cycle

What are your water stats?

Nitrite

ok thats what i thought. i dont know what my water is. having got a tester kit as never had any problems before. would this bacterial bloom be the reason so many fish have died? i lost all my neons straight away and the majority of my guppys, and now all i have left is mollys which dont look very well.

Cant say with out more information. Get yourself a test kit pronto, the API Master is the standard used by most round here. Your local LFS or ebay are the best places to get one from.

large water changes - 2 a day - and by large I mean 80-90%.

Make sure the water is temp matched and decholored.
