Help! Baby Platy On Verge Of Death!

I came home from school today and
a. my pump and the tube that connects it to the filter got messed... so no air was getting to the tank
b. my only baby platy could not swim! when she tried, she spun in crazy circles and could not stay up AT ALL.

Are these two events related? Is there anything I can do?

If the filter was still running, some air should get in the tank from the surface disturbance. If it wasn't running, do you have any idea how long it was off? What are your water stats like?

It sounds like swimbladder. Try doing a water change, and searching around for information. I personally don't know that much about it, sorry.

Uhm. Maybe... 8 hours?

Awww. She's my only one. =(

Edit: I read a bit... looks like some pea should help. I nuked one and dropped in a couple chunks. Maybe she'll be able to nip off a bit somehow...
