First of all, 5 gallons is much to small to keep a goldfish in. Is it full grown?
Has there been any rubbing, or swimming oddly? What tempature is the water? Do you have stats?

yes he's full grown i think and the temperature is set at 77. he was acting a little oddly before i left too. im sorry thats all ive got... :-(

He's not going to make it sorry, ammonia poisoning.
Goldfish are massive waste producers that why the first goldifsh needs a 20gal, then 10gal for every other goldfish added.
He won't last long if he's having seizures, sorry bless him.

In that case, Wilder can help you. But in any event, when he get's better I would suggest upgrading him to a 10-20 gallon prefferably. 77 fahrenheight?

OK thanks. and yes fahrenheit.

ah i have all that stuff at my dorm!!!! it has to be sea salt right?

thank you both for your help. im going to try out some stuff on the website. my last question though is about the salt. i have no sea salt here, only at my dorm. is no salt better than reg. salt? sorry if thats a stupid question

thanks so much for everything, going to go get to work on the tank.. ill let you know

I would run an airstone too, can you post water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
But not for a while if you just done a water change it won't give a true reading.
