Tank and stocking as in my sig

I appear to have sick fishies! Danios, Pearl Gouramis, Bronze catfish and Rainbow threads seem to have red marks behind their gills and the catfish under their bellies also. All are eating and swimming normally except the Gouramis who are hovering around the surface more than usual. Yesterday I had 2 dead dwarf gouramis, both had raised red spots near their tails.

I have had no problems with my tank recently apart from hairy algea on my plants which I removed from the tank. The only items in there at present are bogwood (has been there for a long time and no previous problems) and a pot cave.

I have looked up as much as I can and it appears that I might have a bacterial infection. I have some Interpet Anti Internal Bacteria no9 but would like to know if anyone has any thoughts before i use it.

if iwas youill buy quickly some bacteria medicine or spot medicine and do a big water change

Any signs of flicking and rubbing.
Any fish laboured breathing or gasping.
Any excess mucas on the body or gills.
Any fish swimming oddly like in a jerky movement.

The fish have septicemia and can be caused by dirty tanks, open wounds to parasites.
Once septicemia has advanced it hard to cure as its blood poisoning.

The tank is cleaned regularly, water stats are good. No open wounds on fish

You need to use a bacterial med.
Can you issolate the sick fish as the bacteria can enter the tank water from the fish infecting others.
Would recommend one but don't know your location.
