help 2 of 5 fish dying?

i have 5 little sharks from walmart they start with a b balsa i wanna say they have whiskers they r tropicals. 2 of the 5 are just floating up and down they eat they r breathing they are just floating. the others have been acting strange swimming and staying in one spot or swimming at the top of the tank what is wrong no new fish no new anything.

Have you checked all your water stats? I would start there first.

black bodies and red fins? If so I thought so. Red finned sharks swim funny. Mine swim upside down and side ways and every which way. If the are red finned sharks then I wouldn't worry unless it starts to look like they can't keep they're balance. But you may have some underlying problems in your tank that need addressing. For instance did you know that rainbow sharks need 55 gallon minimum to keep them from killing eachother once they reach for inches. Another thing did you know that they grow to six inches.

What are your water stat's btw. If there is a problem that will be the most telling thing.

EDIT: I just reread your post. Ibelieve what you have purchased is a bala shark. I'll see if I can find the index thread on these and give you a link.

bala's grow to 13 inches btw.
