Fish Crazy
Hello
Ive been looking around this site for a while but I wish I'd found it sooner!!! I got a 10g, planted, cycled and added 3 corydora Julii's 3 pristella tetras 4 zebra danios and 4 blue longfin danios (long fins were from a diff. store). All of this was on the advice of the somewhat creepy LFS guy who said I could put 40 tetras and danios in 10g!!!! This number did not sound good to me even then. Well 2 zebras and 2 longfins died within a few days
. I went to get a replacement after the first blue one died and they gave me a yellow one by accident. I decided not to replace any more or get any more after reading these forums until I can get a bigger tank and a better place to shop.
This is the most addictive hobby EVER! I love it so far. The tank was a lot of work to get the water parameters under conrol in the first place but they have been great ever since.
Oh yeah, I have a snail too... a gift from mom. I have no idea what kind it is.
A friend of mine has three goldfish living in terrible conditions and she is about to give them to me. I want to set up a pond for them. Can anyone point me to where I can get advice about that? I live in the southeastern US (not coastal but close) and it almost never freezes (maybe once a year)
Thanks!!!
