Hello there
An intro - ummm - well myself and my fiance are from the Land of Robin Hood - should be able to guess were that is LOL
We have a great local fish shop (LFS) took me ages to work that one out
Anyway - we started keeping fish thanks to a friend who thought it to be a good idea to buy us some Aqua Babies! No way was I going to continue keeping them in a plastic box - so we took our first trip to the LFS
almost 4 years on we have had an on going breeding of our White Clouds Minnows, we have sadly lost some due to age - although we know they could last longer it's apparant that the gentic make up of the AquaBabies were such that they were to be small and short lived - hardy they are - but have not quite got the life expectancy.
We have a semi planted tank, (who said you can't have planted tanks with under gravel filters and no co2?) - cos you can
First attempt turned it into a bit of a jungle so we had to have a re think as we were expecting no results what so ever.
Today we've just made our first purchase of some Cory's 2 pepper, 2 Panda, 2 Bronze - and what a delight they are too
They've got on well with the Minnows, they've had no problems settling in - active little things lol although the Panda's took a little coaxing from their pals to get up exploring.
So.......after all that - thought we'd sign on here, as we've lurked in the background for ages now reading away quite happily
Nice to meet you all
TnT (initials of our names btw)
