Hi everyone. I have got myself a fish tank and decided to keep tropical fish. Currently I am researching how to keep the fish and what filters etc will be needed. I have the tank set up with water and a filter in it with some blue slate on the bottom. I have yet to buy any fish/heater so get ready for lots of questions as I have never kept fish as an adult before.

My other pets include 2 dogs, 1 cat, stick insects, praying mantids, giant land snails and millipedes.

HI!!! Welcome to Tropical Fish Forums! We are glad to have you join us! Keeping fish is awesome, but sometimes not the funnest or easiest job. Well, to me, no, probably because I'm a kid who has pets that get me tired down easily. OMG! That's cool, giant snails and millipedes. Can you post a picture of them??!!!

Those are some cool pets you've got there.
My pets include: 1 cat, 3 fish, 1 guinea pig.
Zoey, Halo, Howie, PopEye and Mr. Waffles!!!
