I am completely new to fish, I've never kept any type of aquatic pet before so I will be utilizing this forum as a source of information as I look to get my first setup going. I have recently moved into a house with an indoor in ground fish pond. I am looking for advice to set it up here: http

I currently live in Mexico City (and love it!), so I will most likely do the majority of my shopping online (I do have a U.S. address that routes my mail to me here, so Amazon will be utilized for supplies, etc.).

That's a nice project! There are so many different things you could do with it. But whatever you decide, you won't be able to have koi, or any big fish. It's just not deep enough. I think I'd go for something tropical. Paint it a dark color if you are having light colored fish and paint it light if you plan on having dark colored fish, so they will be more visible.
