Hi all! I have been lurking as a guest for a while and have really learned a lot from the members. Of all the web sites I have visited, this one seems to be the most informative and compassionate.
I grew up with fish keeping (South Florida) and worked during college at several LFSs. About 15 years ago donated my last set-up to a good school when I moved to Texas. I am back on the East Coast again, and over Spring Break decided I wanted to get back to fish keeping. Consequently, after being away for 15 years, my knowledge is quite dated- but I am learning a lot from books, web-sites, and of course you guys.
Glad I am back and look forward to learning more from all of you. I have run into a problem that I posted in "Emergencies" though I am not sure if it should be there or in "Beginners" or "Livebearers." Problem has to do with a newly cycling tank with 20 swordtail fry with ich (said it was a odd situation

Welcome to the forum and welcome back to the hobby. I just got back into it as well and found this amazing place and here i am. 
to the forum! I bet the tank that you donated is still in use! I know that I have filled the 3 I could scrounge in the elem school that I work in and have set them up for diff grade levels.
