Hi all,
I've been keeping fish on and off for some time, with no real indepth knowlege. I just restarted my tropical tank a few weeks ago. My tank is a 71 l./16 gal ( from the Practical Fishkeeping magazine web site, i take it thats US galls.) 61 uk litres.

In my tank i have the following:

15 Neon Tetras (sex god knows.)
4 White Mountain Minnows (2 m, 2 f)
3 guppies (1 m, 2 f)
1 spotted Cory
2 BumbleBee Gobies
and last of all my pride and joy a shrimp but i'm not sure what it is i think it's a ghost shrimp.( If any one can put a pic of a Ghost shrimp on i can find out if it is one.)

Quick question is my tank over stocked or can i add more.

Nitrate 0-12.5
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
PH around 7.2

:hi: to the fourm.

That's not a ghost shrimp.

Here it is. :D http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Di...=21&pCatId=1468

It seems pretty good, though it's overstocked for a 16 gallon tank. I'd suggest getting another tank ASAP or give fish away. (This is of course, unless gobies stay small because I knwo nothing about this fish).

Also, cories are best kept in groups because it brings out the most activity.

Welcome to the forum, StrontiumDog!

Your tank is looking a little overstocked, but with frequent water changes and good filtration it may not be a problem.

As tempestuousfury suggested, you may want to get another spotted cory or two because they do best in groups. However, you will either need to get rid of some fish or take some back to the lfs if you do that, since you tank will most definitely be overstocked with the addition of some more corys :(
