I was recommended to this site by a buddy of mine. I've been having some troubles, so i posted my problems and got a couple of good responses already! thank you to all who have replied

I've had a 10 gal tank for a couple years, but because of my ignorance towards the hobby, I never had much luck, and never got really into it. Over this past year though, I've gotten very serious about it, reading up on as much as i possibly could. I recently upgraded to a 55 gal tank. I look forward to the opportunities that this site has to offer!

It's excellent to hear you're getting progressively interested in the hobby, despite the comments some absent minded people have. There is more to aquatics than simply keeping fish, many people don't realise this or how exciting the hobby can actually be. It's a good job you have finally realised! ;
