Sounds just like me I used to keep them when I was younger had a break now I am back at age 26, and I still learn something new every time I use the forum.... and I think this will continue to always be the case :)

Hi - I've just joined the hobby as well as the forums so I will appreciate any help anyone can give me.

I set up my 35l tank a month ago and have had my two wee fish (a shubunkin and goldfish) for three weeks and they seem to be doing well.

In fact I have already noticed that they seem to be growing - what I would like to know is how old they are.

They were purchased together from a reputable pet shop so I would imagine all fish sold are roughly the same age - the shubunkin is slightly bigger at about 5cm in the body and about 8cm mouth to tail.

From what I've read it seems two fish would be the limit for my tank - but how much are they likely to grow?

If I make a success of this tank I hope to get a bigger (probably tropical) one so here goes.......

JOHN
