I've got a 60cm tank with 5 white cloud mountain minnows and 2x2" goldfish The goldfish are waiting for the filter on their pond to be fixed. It's more of an emptying device than a filter! The goldfish were curious at first but ignore the little fellas now. When they've moved I'll add more minnows and some danios and keep it as as cool tropical tank.
Contemplating a 100cm tank for the lounge. Community tropical I think. Local fish store has juwel rio 180 on offer so am tempted by that.
