Hello!

Hello to everyone! I love fish! They are so darn cool! Currently I only have 2 small tanks. 1 five gallon with a beautiful 3 year old male Betta and a 10 gallon with a rescued red cap oranda . (I know now that the ten gallon is really too small for him, but at the time I rescued him from a half gallon bowl, that was so dirty the water was brown and it smelled, I didn't really know this.)

Anyway, he seems pretty happy so far and I've had him for 4 years. Unfortunately, I know that he will never reach his full size potential or his full life expectency. (I also did not know that goldfish can live in excess of 20 years!) I was just so horrified at his "home" that I went out and bought the only tank I could afford and kidnapped him from my neighbor. I hope he is happier with me and I'm sure that he has lived longer than he would have.

Anyway, I will be buying my first tropical fish tank soon so I'll have lots o' questions!

man haha you cant just go steal someones cat cause you prosume its not being cared for properly that wa someone elses how would you like it if i stole your cat haha .....fish are a little different but still lol if i was like 5-6 i would be really obset if someone stole my fish

Some one should still steal it though. You're just gonna kill it by putting crayons in there or poking it with a pair of scissors on day if you're 6

It was at an apartment complex in college, my neighbors were always having keg parties and they would say "hey look, nothing will kill this stupid fish!" Then they would pour beer and ash cigarettes in his disgusting bowl. I was po'd so I went to wal mart, bought a cheap 10 gallon box set. Put some water in it then knocked on my neighbors door and told them they were going to give me the fish or die. I added little bits of fresh water for a few days until I was pretty sure he wouldn't die of shock when I put him in his new tank. He's been with me ever since!

Poor fish! That's horrible what they were doing to it.

We stole it from a couple of drug dealers and kept him locked in the spare bedroom all the time. They also thought it was funny to give him meth when people were over so they could watch him go mad crazy. I have no regrets.

how do you no they gave it meth were you there when they were doing it haha....dont blame people for stuff unless you have good evidence oh ya and theft can be almost as big of a charge as animal abuse
