Hi I am Nat and i am just about to purchase my first fish tank.

At the moment I have no idea about anything (well I know a lot about chemistry!) but I am hoping that there will be lots of helpful hints hidden in the forum somewhere!!!

There are people here with loads of experience (not me!) who will answer your queries.The first bit of advice I will give you is not to believe eveything you are told by staff in petshops/localfishshops.Plenty of good ones but also plenty of bad ones.

Welcome to TFF. This is a wonderful forum that is very welcoming!
If you have any issues at all please post them in the appropriate topic section and we will do everything possible to help. Generally, this is a very welcoming forum and everyone is always full of advice and ideas!! If there is a specific problem it is worth posting the water stats (pH, temp, nitrite, nitrate, amonia), what is in the tank in general and as much detail as possible!
And remember ......... there is no such thing as a stupid question!
