Hello To Everyone

Hi everyone.....almost a newbie
Have been doing research since about June and now have "taken the plunge". I have a tank/stand on order: Aqua One AquaStyle AR850. Looking forward to the fun and the challenge.

Already placed a couple posts, so thank you to those of you who read and/or replied.

Good luck with the aqua one-i have the 620 tall-good fun but the filters aint up to much-give me a shout if you need to know anything about the aqua one tanks....

Thanks to Paul, too! I should receive my tank on Thursday or Friday. I'll take you up on the offer about giving you a shout. I'm sure I'll have loads of questions once I get it here. Are you satisfied with yours? What's with the filters? No good, or what? Did you place your tank directly on the stand, or did you put something between for protection???

Yeah i love my tank. I put it directly on the stand it comes with, with nothing in between. Well i've always had trouble getting the water really clean and sparkling. I was reading on a forum in australia about people using the aqua one tanks and maybe 75% of people said the filters werent up to much and didnt have enough throughput. In mine it is 550l per hour which is 3.5 tanks full of water filtered but even so my water wasnt really clean. I still use the filters in the hood of the aqua one but i now have a fluval +2 running in the tank which scrubs it totally. Anyhow let me know how you get on-if i'm lucky i should get a digital camera in the new year and then get some pics on here----

Hey Paul....they delivered the tank today. Got the stand and everything put together. Have to go shopping tomorrow. Hope to put gravel in tomorrow and fill it up and let 'er rip. Can't wait.
