Just started in the hobby. Unfortunately i was one of the people put off by the pet store and lost a couple of my fish. but thanks to this website i am doing my constant water changes and getting along with the guys i have left so hello to all and thanks for the info.

Good to have you with us. Sorry to hear you lost some fish. Hopefully we'll be able to keep you on track to keep the remaining ones healthy and happy.

I had fish when i was 10 or younger had them for years just tetras though. Im 23 now. My fiances friend has a 125g fresh water tank and tanking to him made me want to get back into the hobby. So she got me a small ten gallon just to get started again. Well she came home with everything from petco. 3 dalmation mollies, and 3 sunset plats, well of course to much for the tank. Have one molly and two plats left two dude and one girl they are getting along fine now. It was a nice gift but unexpected, it would have been nice to refresh myself on fish keeping again as i was so young. It alot of work cause of the fish in cycling but im hooked again.
