Hello all,
I just found this forum today. I am relatively new to "fishing" , have had tanks set up for several months. Have a 5 gallon with male guppies, and another 5 gallon with 22 guppy fry that are about 4 weeks old. Had two females that had babies, then died a couple of days later. Bought them pregnant, and delivered within 3 days of bringing them home. I let them deliver in the fry tank, then moved them to the adult tank. I think one of the males tormented them to death. He torments all the other fish. But he's the prettiest one! Will try to post a picture of my adult tank.

:hi:

Same thing happened to my female platties. They both died after birth.

We'll be able to answer any question you have about platties. We've all dabb;ed with livebearers, so we're all brimming with information about these fish!

:hi:

A platy I bought turned out to be pregnant and had the babies the next day.
She died about a week later.
Maybe the stress of being pregnant and moving to a new tank is too much for them?!

Hi Tropical fish are easier to keep because you can get handy fish like bottom feeders. They clean your tank for you. They get rid of all the algi it make yours tank look great.

:pepsi: give me some
