Just been out and bought a tank Not sure what fish I'm having yet though.

Will have a look in here to see what takes my fancy

Hi James and welcome to the forum.

You are wise to research the fish before buying them. It will make for a much simpler start into the hobby. A good start to the learning process would be in our Beginners Resource Center. There are links to a lot of articles about the most frequently asked questions.

Thankyou. I have had a good look around and admired all the wonderful pictures the members have put up. I am not a complete beginner having had a tank some years ago with Tiger barbs in. They were nice but very boistrous. Whether it was because it was the first section i looked in, i was quite taken by some of the fighting fish pictures. There seems to be such a variety of colours, so i will probably ask some advice in there. Although i did like the look of some endler pictures.
