Hello. I'm new to the channel.
I have had a 180l tank for quite a while now and as there are not that many fish in it I feel like it needs a few more to liven it up a little. What would be the biggest fish that would be happy in 180 litres?

Hello new, I’m dad. I think you should add some zebra loaches, and also some mollies. Maybe also a honey gourami for fun too. A special one I’d suggest would be aspidora catfish, or even a wrestling halfbeak.

Hello. At the moment I have 2 golden gouramis, 3 dwarf gouramis, I rainbow shark, 1 black widow tetra, 1 serpai tetra, a few baby mollies, and a plec.
The water is quite hard.
The photo was taken a few months ago before I moved the fish into it, the plants have grown a bit ect

What I was hoping to do is to move some of the fish into my other tank so I can free up a bit more space

Neat! If I were you, I’d go out and find some rocks to put in the front-left corner for a new cave. Some caves in gene would be neat.

I have a big piece of bogwood on the left hand side at the moment but I think rocks would look quite nice there!

In my tank, I got rocks from the train tracks, and they worked really well to be honest. Any smooth rocks are great for bottom dwellers. Use geometric rocks for caves.

Ok. Suppose you have to clean them thoroughly somehow?
Yep, you just need to put them in a large bowl, scrub them with a toothbrush or some sort of utensil. Get hot water and boil it for 15 minutes, if the rocks are really big. Smaller rocks can have about 5.
