Hello from SoCal

Hello all, I live in SoCal and I’m thinking about getting back into keeping fish (the right way). I had all kinds of pets and fish (mostly cichlids) when I was a kid and there is so much to remember. I currently have a 30 gallon tank with 3 red ear sliders but I am craving a betta fish in a 10 gallon tank I upgraded our turtles from. I figured the best way to lear was to join a forum. Hope I can learn and help a lot.

Welcome, i used to live in No. Cal. Great thing about Cali tap water is it is soft which lends itself to a wider range of tropical fish one can keep. Welcome!
