Hello, all.
MoMa (Monique and Matt) here, from New Haven, CT (US). Relatively new, w/ some former experience, to the hobby.
Matt worked for a distributor years back and has had some large freshwater tanks, as well as an assortment of small mammals. Mo has had livebearer tanks.
We recently set up a 38g tank with 2 clown loaches, and 2 neon tetras (originally 5, d*mn forced cycling), and inadvertantly purchased 3 green spotted puffers which are currently housed in one 10g semi-brackish tank. ((disclaimer: new tanks are being purchased and cycled, as to separate the GSPs)).
If you bothered to read this, thanks, and we hope to gain insight from the vast experience to be found on this site.

Cheers!

No. We're in the process of adding another 50-70g tank (depending on shape/size/cost) for the cleanest looking GSP, with the hopes (high hopes...) of adding 1 or 2 other brackish types. The other 2 GSPs will each end up in their own separate 30g tanks.
So far, so good with aggressiveness ((knocking on wood)), but we're aware that this won't last. We've noticed that excessive planting and decoration seems to have broken up the sight lines between puffers, so for the time being they're a bit "chill".

Any suggestions on ideal tankmates would be awesome, because as much as we like the li'l buggers, we're having a hard time justifying a 70g tank for 1 fish...
