Hi all just wanted to say hi to all of you and also to say what a great forum this is. I bought a Juwel Rio 125 last week and will be starting next week with a fishless cycle and using sand. The amount of information I've gained from the site will hopefully make this a successful and enjoyable experience. I also know if I have a problem the experts on this site will not be too far away.

I hope you are as happy with this site as I am, if you ask you get lots of information from all angles. If your new to the hobby then there is always something new people can do . We have all discovered just how quick our own teething troubles can return.

I too will be starting to recycle a tank soon so feedback from other always helps.

Play sand - as long as you wash it out beforehand.
