Hello From A New Guy In Derbyshire

Just wanted to say hello to the forum, I was directed here from another forum and I must say it is great to see such a knowledgable bunch of friendly people. I am getting back into fishkeeping after a long break and sorting my life out etc etc. I currently have a 70 gallon planted tank that seems to be doing well for now. I would like to be able to do some of the ADA stuff but so far my artistic talents have not come to the fore! I have kept multiple tanks in the past (and probably will do so again) But this time it will be done slowly!


I hope I will be able to give as much help as I will be asking for once I have settled in here - Thanks for having me

At the moment I have this lot - http/www.plantsalive.co.uk/index.php?act...mp;productId=48 plus another 20 bunches to bulk things out and some Marimo Balls. The substrate is soil with a lightweight Hydroculture topping -http/www.greenshorticulture.co.uk/details.asp?productid=1039&subcat=209&cat=198 but it was a PITA to keep stuff plated in so I added a bag of Eco Complete as well.


It is for now all very low tech but hopefully I should have CO2 shortly (If my landlord gets his finger out and remembers to order another bottle from the brewery)
