:D Well Its been awhile since I've been on here. Just thought I would come back to update everyone on my Guppies...
I have no full grown Guppies anymore they all died....
But I do have lol 56 to 46 (not to sure) babies in two 10 gallon tanks.....
Some of you may remember I had a big problem with my Nitrite levels. I couldn't get them to go down at all, Well I stopped coming on here and two weeks later after everyday water changes My problem stopped both fish tanks were at 0 for everything. My fish are doing great My 5 month old Guppies have long tails and covered in colours ... I have 14 males That I knew where male from 2 months old are in one tank, The female and little babies that I can't tell what they are yet they are in the other tank. I have 3 month old fry that are so little I have to still keep the filter thing covered....

I do have a question. has anyone seen or have, a Yellow Orange colour Female guppy do they have a black gravid spot? ..... I have 9 baby guppies this colour and only two are as big as my 5 month fry.....

Thanks to everyone for the help they gave before and the help you may give.... :)

Glad you got the nitrites sorted at last

I have a yellow guppy with an orange tail (see avatar) and her gravid spot is just mainly pink. I have yet to have fry from her as so far her 2 pregnancies have resulted in just unfertilized eggs :( This time however there are brown/black spots in her and I'm hoping that these are fry!

I do however have yellow fry from normal grey coloured females so I just assume that their lfs dad was yellow. some of these fry are now nearly 7 weeks old and they have now got the grey colouring with yellow fins so I guess that fry born yellow won't necessarily grow into yellow guppies

Good luck with your babies :)

:D Thanks
The mother of the babies was yellow..... I could see right through her and I could see the whole body of the baby fish..... the babies are half black and half yellow
but two they look just like the mother with a red white/yellow and blue tail...

The blue doesn't show up to well in the pics that was the mother of the babies I have...... she killed all my older guppies she had fin rot and I didn't know because she didn't have any signs I even treated her and ther other fish when they showed signs of white spots. I had them 3 weeks before I put them in my main tank. it was just one fish after the other till all 8 were gone.....
The fish in the Picture she had her babies right before she died she had 12 and only 9 lived....... she died 3 days after that pic was taken.....

Thanks so much for your help I'll just keep a really close eye on the little fishie and see what it turns into...... :D
