Hi all i'm quite new to fish keeping, ive had a tank for 3 years. Here is my list of fish and tank details:

Juwel Rio 450
Eheim Ecco Comfort 2234 filter
250 watt heater
1x Albino Corydoras
1x Peacock Goby
2x Sailfin Pleco (10" and 6")
20x Neon Tetras
3x Pearl Danios
2x Rainbow Fish
2x YoYo Loaches
5x Harlequins
5x Glowlight Tetras
1000's of Malaysian Trumpet Snails >_<

I keep the tank at 24 degrees and test my water each water change (once a month, about 3 14 litre buckets.) for nitrates, its always <0.3ml/g I dont check for PH levels, do I need to? I also dont do any other checks, are there any more I should be doing?

I'd love to have a big colorful fish in my tank as a main attraction can anyone recommend one that would be compatible with my current fish?

You should be testing for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate.

Before you get more fish, you should check into the requirements of the fish you already have. Your neons, harlequins, and glow lights will eventually be lunch for the yoyo loaches and the cory would be much happier in a group of 6 or more. Almost forgot, Good morning and welcome to the forum :good:
