Just saying hello to everyone. Very new to this hobby, but have been gradually learning over the past few weeks.
Perhaps foolishly, rather than start with a small tank and work our (it's the families tank) way up, we plumped for a 300litre tank to start with, see below:
We've had lots of problems since we got the tank about a week and a half ago, some through inexperience, but also quite a bit of bad luck. Things seems to be settling down now, and I've just started the fishless cycling in the last couple of days.
Excuse the bad background that is something we need to sort out. Also we haven't really decided what plants, decorations we are adding yet either, so it is looking a little sparse.
I'm sure I'll be posting lots of 'noob' questions in the coming weeks and months.
