Sorry i can not help you with that, i started my tank way before coming on this forum and did not even know about cycling, i just got lucky i never and still have'nt lost any fish. It will not take long to get a good piece of advice on this forum.

Hi & Welcome

it doesn't make any difference if the lights are on during the cycling process. If you have live plants in the tank then have them on. If you don't have any live plants in the tank then turn the lights off.
